Your VA benefits, TRICARE if you have it, your timeline, and your questions. Every veteran's situation is different. If you have TRICARE For Life, Medicare Parts A and B are required; Medicare Advantage (Part C) is optional. Choosing Part C can change provider-network rules, copayments, and claim procedures. Check your TRICARE and plan documents before changing coverage.

The 20-minute consultation is free and there is no obligation to enroll. We may be compensated by insurance companies if you enroll in a plan; plan premiums, deductibles, copayments, networks, and other costs vary by plan and county. We will explain available options, but you decide whether to take any action.
Your Medicare Initial Enrollment Period generally lasts seven months: it starts three months before the month you turn 65 and ends three months after it. Your exact timing can differ based on disability, current employer coverage, TRICARE, or other circumstances. Check Medicare.gov or Social Security for your situation.
