Privacy Policy

Published Updated

This notice explains how Veterans Advantage Financial® may process information when you visit this website, submit information through a form, request information, or otherwise interact with our online services. It is intended to describe website practices in plain language; the responsible owner should confirm the details below against current forms, vendors, and settings before publication.

Important noticeThis page is an online privacy notice, not a promise that every website, form, cookie, vendor, or retention period works the same way forever. We will update this notice when our practices change.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you use the site, information may include your name, phone number, the information you include in a form or message, and technical information such as browser, device, approximate location, pages viewed, and referral information. We may receive information directly from you, automatically from your device or browser, or from service providers that help operate the website. Please do not submit sensitive information that a form does not specifically request.

How we use information

  • To respond to questions, requests, and appointment inquiries.
  • To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the website and its features.
  • To understand website use and diagnose errors, where the relevant technology is enabled.
  • To send requested information or, where a separate marketing choice is required, marketing communications consistent with that choice.
  • To comply with law, prevent misuse, and protect the rights and safety of the business, visitors, and others.

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use necessary cookies to operate the site and, only where enabled, analytics or other similar technologies to understand traffic and improve the experience. The exact names, providers, purposes, retention periods, and available controls depend on the current site configuration. Review your browser settings and any cookie controls presented on the site.

Cookie schedule to confirmBefore this notice is treated as final, the site owner should complete a current scan of cookies, pixels, analytics, advertising technologies, and embedded services, then publish a schedule or linked Cookie Notice with provider, purpose, duration, and preference controls.

Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose the categories of information described above to service providers that host, secure, analyze, or help operate the site; professional advisers; and other recipients when required or permitted by law. Providers may process information for us under their own agreements and instructions. The owner should maintain a current list of relevant form, scheduling, hosting, analytics, advertising, and lead-routing providers.

This notice does not make a categorical claim that information is never sold, shared, or used for targeted advertising. Those practices, the applicable legal definitions, and any opt-out or request channels must be confirmed against actual data flows before a more specific statement is added.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we process. Information submitted through the site is transmitted using currently supported HTTPS/TLS where enabled. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We retain information for as long as needed for the purpose collected, to provide requested services, resolve issues, meet legal or recordkeeping obligations, and protect our rights. Actual retention periods and deletion procedures vary by system and must be confirmed for each form, CRM, inbox, backup, log, and service provider. This notice does not state that payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive fields are never stored; do not submit them unless a form expressly requests them and the collection is approved.

Your choices and privacy requests

This notice explains how we process information. Where a separate consent or marketing choice is required, we request it at the relevant form and explain how to withdraw it. You may contact the business about access, correction, deletion, or other requests available under applicable law. The owner should add and maintain the correct privacy contact method and jurisdiction-specific rights instructions before publication.

Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it as required by applicable law. The FTC explains that COPPA applies to websites directed to children under 13 and to operators that know they collect information online from a child under 13.[1]

Commercial email

If we send commercial email, the sender should use accurate header and subject information, identify commercial messages where required, include a valid postal address and a clear unsubscribe method, honor opt-out requests as required by law, and monitor service providers that send email on our behalf. The FTC lists these as core CAN-SPAM requirements.[2] This page does not claim that any particular email workflow is currently configured; the owner must verify each control and insert the correct business contact details before commercial email is sent.

The website may link to third-party sites or services. Their privacy notices and practices are separate from ours. Review those notices before submitting information to another site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this notice when our information practices, technology, vendors, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised notice on this page and update the effective date. The effective date should reflect the date the responsible owner approves the current text, rather than the stale 2019 date in the original export.

Questions about Medicare, VA health care, or insurance are separate from this website privacy notice. You can learn more through the Terms of Service, read the Veterans Medicare FAQ, or book a call about insurance questions.
